Katie & Sam – Engagement Celebration

Covid SUCKS. Katie & Sam were all set to get married at Discovery World at the beginning of October and the pandemic decided that was not going to be a thing. However, these two are extremely resilient and said, “what’s one more year anyway?” When I suggested capturing some memories on the would-be wedding day for funsies (yes. that is a real word.) they were all about it! So when the day rolled around and the forecast was for rain, rain, and more rain I asked if they were still feeling it and lo and behold these lovers were ready to dance in the rain! It was actually an idyllic fall evening in Milwaukee. Beautiful autumn clouds, leaves beginning to turn, a gorgeous view of the lake and skyline, and a little drizzle which made for some cozy embraces and intimate umbrella moments. While marriage must wait a little longer, love never ceases! Congratulations to a beautiful couple who on a rainy day “shine like the light from the sun”!
