Every good love story starts with conflict. Once upon a time a boy stood up a girl as her wedding date. Fast forward several years, girl and boy build a beautiful relationship, get married, add two puppies to the mix, and have a beautiful baby girl! Needless to say I forgave him for standing me up and we are living our happily-ever-after!
How did I get into photography? I used to be a teacher, but cue burnout, a pandemic, and starting a family, and I realized I had the perfect storm to pursue my passion of capturing love in photographs as a business!
Apart from being the love of my life, Sam is a pilot and we love to explore the world together! He lights up a room with his smile and makes everyone around him feel important. Why am I talking about him here? He is my second shooter for weddings! Book us and you get the dream team to capture one of the biggest days of your life. We tend to read each other's minds which means you get memories from every angle and you can actually have a photographer in two places at once!

Each session is unique, just like your adventures. Engagements, newborns, & family sessions average between 50-100 images. Weddings average between 700-1000 images. Your gallery of edited images will be accessible in a private online gallery which will be sent to you through email.

Wear something that makes you feel like the beautiful soul you are! I'd avoid anything that might cause a Marilyn moment and I'd probably avoid a pristine pair of white shoes or busy prints. You can order them right from your online gallery through my connection with a PROFESSIONAL printing lab!!! Ya'll, I used to be a dedicated Walgreens photo user... after seeing the difference in quality I will NEVER EVER EVER go back! The professional lab also does BEAUTIFUL canvasses, fine art prints, metal prints... I can guarantee you will love anything you order through your gallery. Can't say the same if you go elsewhere.

I do all of my sessions outside and boy I wish I could control the weather... especially in unpredictable Wisconsin where we keep sunscreen & a shovel in the trunk just in case. Precipitation can make for some gorgeous and unique photos though! Either way, I come equipped with clear umbrellas if the weather shifts on us, otherwise I am totally cool with rescheduling! For a wedding, you leave it to me to make it work! I got you!

It depends. I've turned them around in as quickly as a day (thank you snow day), and I've taken up to two weeks (I do have a sweet little daughter who keeps me on my toes). But, I pride myself on getting them to you as quickly as possible. Either way, I'll do my best to get you some sneak peeks to keep you excited! I remember that anticipation of something so fun and wanting to see the results right away!

What is your travel radius?
As mentioned, we love to travel. But gas prices. Yipes! We'll meet you within 50 miles no charge, after that we'll add a nominal mileage fee which will be incorporated in the contract.
Do you have recommendations on a location for a session?
I'm always down to try a new location, but I have many spots that I know work beautifully to capture memories for you! If you let me know what kind of vibe you like (i.e. nature vibe vs. cityscape) I am happy to send you some ideas!
